Summary0000321: ms_1_exc_replaceIfOS function from DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32.ini does not function properly
DescriptionThe ms_1_exc_replaceIfOS= function has the following bugs:

1. After slipstream no .sy_ file is present.
2. After slipstream dosnet.inf has been modified but txtsetup.inf has not.

That second link is not quite the same issue.

Have not been able to reproduce! I've tested on Windows Server 2003 installation files, using DPs BASE 7.01.2 and DP MassStorage 7.01.

The following drivers were all replaced correctly: dpti20, adpu160m, adpu320, aliide, hpt3xx, nfrd960, mraid35x, dac2w2k, dac960nt, symmpi, ultra, ql2100, ql2200, ql2300 and ql12160 (that is: dosnet.inf and txtsetup.sif were updated correctly, the .sy_ files were present).

EDIT:
With the exception of dac2w2k, of which the .sy_ file was NOT present.

Additionally, the nvatabus driver was not picked up at all, not even properly imported!

It appears that when 2 mass storage text mode drivers exist in 1 directory, the ms_*_exc_* entries are imported correctly, the others are not: the second driver seems to overwrite the entries of the first...
