I have test with add my update pack (same RyanVM pack in french version). If I select Pack Sound A : integrator slipstream HDA ! And I test with no select sound pack A : slipstream hda !

It's messed up because of the pre-RC2 DriverPacks BASEs. The solution:
-delete \I386\SVCPACK dir, \I386\SVCPACK.INF/.IN_, hdaud* files in \I386 and \I386\portcls.sys.
-slipstream again: the error will have disappeared.

I test with RC3 : I integrate on fresh CD, and svcpack bug ! Bug no present in RC1 !

OK, it turned out to be a file encoding issue. Your file (the one you sent me) was a UCS-2 Little Endian file. Thanks to your magnificent, yet extremely easy way of converting it to ANSI I had this problem fixed rather fast now.
