0000556: Default settings in Atheros driver prevents network booting
Default settings in Atheros drivers prevent netbooting from onboard Atheros L1 network card on mainboards with AMI BIOSes.
Affected files:
D\L\At1\l150x86.inf
D\L\At1\l151x86.inf
Steps to reproduce:
- buy tons of computers with onboard Atheros L1 card and AMI BIOS;
- boot them into Windows XP;
- install network driver from DP LAN;
- reboot and enable network booting in BIOS setup;
- try to boot;
Quick and temporary fix: unplug power cord from computer for 1 minute.

Patches for permanent fix:

Issues with DriverPacks are reported in the forum.

The BugTracker is for reporting issues with DriverPacks BASE... our main application. ONLY. If you have reporte an issue with BASE in the forum and we agreee that you have found a BUG with BASE you will be invited to report it here. Issues with the packs themselves are never reported here.

You NEITHER have an issue with Driverpacks BASE nor with the Driverpacks themselves.

We don't modify the drivers in our packs, We will gladly update a driver in the packs if you can tell us that there is another driver that does work, either an updated driver or a driver from a different OEM provider.

Please report all issues in the forum. It is always very possable that one of our millions of other users has already "been there done that". If not you may be the one that saves our other users. Always report in the forum (and try to keep the rants to a minimum ;D).

Issue closed... Not a Driverpacks BASE issue. (not even a DriverPack issue)
