0000505: Critical error when slipstreaming
When slipstreaming latest drivers I get a critical error - Required windows drivers were removed from the source, and then dp_base crashes. I am using dp_base 8.12.3 and have downloaded all of the latest driver packs. We have not removed any of the windows drivers. Can you please let me know how to overcome this problem.

This is not a Crash. BASE exited normaly
And informed you that your source is not valid.

YOU REMOVED CRITICAL DRIVERS FROM YOUR SOURCE!

EXACTLY AS IT TOLD YOU! USER ERROR!

The error message is by design, and worked exactly as it was intended to.

Don't remove the native drivers if you do then DriverPacks will not work.
this is not a DPS error it is user error.

DriverPacks will not use a source that has any required critical drivers removed.

This is not a BUG, who told you it was...
there is no post on the forum? We will let you know if you have found a bug ;)

I have recreated a new RIS image win xp sp3 from the CD and then ran the dp_base tool and I get the same error message. No files have been deleted or altered. The only way this works is if I dont update the dp_base from 8.0.3 to 8.3.12.
