You did NOT have that error when you used DriverPacks BASE 6.03.4, right? If so... I don't know where to start looking for the cause. Do you have a spare HDD to test whether it works in JBOD?
(0000050)
Vier57
2006-05-15 13:38
I have no problem with base 6.03.4 !
I'm launch test without raid !
(0000051)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:02
I test with No RAID ! I have no BSOD but no driver is installed !?
(0000052)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-15 14:04
And did you see that during partition selection your HDD was named after your driver, i.e. in this case 'iastor'?
(0000053)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:12
Detect HDD is ATAPI, and not iastor.
I have all files in Systemdrive from Driverpack slipstream, but not installed ?
(0000054)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-15 14:14
Please attach DPs_fnsh.log!
(0000055)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:19
File is attached !
(0000056)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-15 14:20
NOT DPs_BASE.log (that's the log of the slipstreamer).

I need DPs_fnsh.log (that's the log of the batch file that finishes the installation). It should be in %SystemDrive% of your installation (that did not succeed).
(0000057)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:25
Ok, I don't have any DPs_fnsh.log in %systemDrive%
(0000058)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-15 14:26
What finishing method are you using? GUIRunOnce, RunOnceEx or custom?
(0000059)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:27
GuiRunOnce
(0000060)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-15 14:27
Then please post your winnt.sif.
(0000061)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:29
I just supress my product key !
(0000062)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-15 14:30
That's ok...

[GUIRunOnce]
command9="%SystemDrive%\fnsh_log.cmd"

Please tell me what's in your $OEM$\$1 directory.
(0000063)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:34
Nothing in $OEM$\$1

I just add a regtweak in $OEM$ for see BSOD !
(0000064)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-15 14:36
Oh you're using method 2 then... will have to figure out the cause then...
(0000065)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:38
You want test Method 1 ?
(0000066)

-%SystemDrive%\DPs_fnsh.cmd and several other files exist? Yes
-%SystemDrive%\D\cmdow.exe exists? Yes

I don't export it (hex key), but I copy path :

No found : %SYSTEMRoot%\D or %SYSTEMDRIVE%\D
(0000068)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-15 14:53
Then everything is working except for DevPath.exe... Thanks, I'll now try to figure out why that is...
(0000069)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:54
Thanks at you !
(0000070)
Vier57
2006-05-15 14:57
I think, if devpath does'nt work and no driver found : It's normal that my windows BSOD : it's installed but not recognize HDD (!)
(0000071)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-15 14:59
Initial testing reveals that it indeed doesn't work properly, it only sets %SystemRoot%\Inf. Then how come it DID work properly??? Very strange...
(0000072)
Vier57
2006-05-15 15:02
And the section SCSI.load in TXTSETUP.sif is very strange too !
(0000073)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-16 00:16
Then please attach your txtsetup.sif as well!
(0000074)
Vier57
2006-05-16 03:00
but the problem which one had with this section was really odd, but
you succeeded in solving it. It is what I wanted to say by!
(0000075)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-16 13:30
It's the QUOTES, the DAMN QUOTES!

1) Open your presetup.cmd in a text editor.
2) Find this line:

%CDDRIVE%\OEM\bin\DevPath.exe "%SystemDrive%\D"

3) Change it to:

%CDDRIVE%\OEM\bin\DevPath.exe %SystemDrive%\D
(i.e. remove the quotes)

4) Done!

Please make this change and then report your results.
(0000076)
Vier57
2006-05-16 14:41
I make two tests with suppress quote :
- with non raid array : driver installed
- with raid array : driver installed
(0000077)
Vier57
2006-05-16 14:42
Bug is solved
(0000078)
BashratTheSneaky
2006-05-16 15:00
And... ALL drivers are installed now, right?
