0000189: AutoIt Error while creating second ini file for multiboot.
I'm going to create multiboot.
First need to prepare different ini files (in disc mode) for each OS's in my multiboot compilation.
Creation of first ini file (disc mode for 1st OS) goes smoothly, but when trying to create second ini file (disc mode for 2nd OS) got an Autoit Error message (see autoit.jpg). It doesn't matter if I'm still in the same session of DPs_BASE.exe, or closing it and reopening again.
Anyway I've found a workaround. After each ini export (at the end) - exit the application (DPs_BASE.exe), delete DPs_BASE.ini and than start DPs_BASE.exe again. That allow to configure and extract more than one ini file for preparation of multiboot slipstreaming method.
It works that way, but is frustrating. It should go without deleting DPs_BASE.ini.
No tags attached.

You forgot to upload the file... ;)

This definitely should NOT happen, by the way...

Can you reproduce it?

This crash happens when you're on the Settings\Location page, right?

This crash happens always in disc mode, by pressing forward button, just after selecting Location (which is different to previously stored in DPs_BASE.ini).

6.08.4 The problem still exists. The workaround is working.

The same autoIt error happens in multiboot (see http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?pid=3056 [^])
It appears only when in ini file there is no location.

Please post step-by-step instructions to reproduce it. Describe EVERY action you do!

1. delete any *.ini and *.log file.
2. Start DPs_BASE.exe > > choose disc mode > select location of OS (OS detected!) > Exit application.
3. Start again DPs_BASE.exe > > leave disc mode, leave location as is > select DriverPacks to slipstream (all) > choose slipstream method (2) > choose method to start finisher (GUIRunOnce) > disable KTD > > Enable QSC > choose Ati CCC > Export settings!
-----------------------
Now are two methods of getting the AutoIt error:
-----------------------
4a. Go back to Start screen > > leave disc mode, select location of OS different from previous one (OS detected!) > AutoIt Error!!!

or

4b. Go back to Start screen > > change to multibootDisc mode, select location of multibootDisc > AutoIt Error!!!
